comcast
comcast blows. i cannot even explain the internet anguish i have been through this week. to sum up the long list of my problems, we constantly lose internet connection. every 10 or so minutes the internet cuts out for a minute. normally we use our internet for important things nearly 24 hours a day. we cant keep a voip call on the line because it constantly drops. comcast has givin us the biggest list of bullshit ever as far as why our internet refuses to work. we have switched out all our cables, our modem, our router, our cable tv box, and our splitter at our house. we switched all those out not comcast. they refuse to help and refuse to take care of their customers. why is it that time after time you hear these stories about these idiots? NEVER SIGN UP FOR COMCAST INTERNET.

politiwiki
sounds like a funky name, i know. but imagine a political wiki, where everyone can post, and argue political points in a manageable clean fashion. or two seperate wikis on the same site, arguing differential opinions. writers who get rated high by other users gain higher user status on the site, promoting people to put in their best work. i wonder if eventually the user base could be enough to support it based on ads...
screen brightness
just noticing the difference in screen brightness on my laptops. the rgb led screen i have on my studio xps is totally worth it. totally.

football vs government
does it suprise anyone else that more people watch football, something that has no lasting effect on their lives, than the people that vote for cheif government officials. stands to reason that government officials are a little more important, but i have been wrong before.
Late night argument
roommates are arguing about politics. I wish i knew more about this right now, because they really dont know whats going on, but i dont know any better. sad. note to self, learn more about politics and pick a side.
Twitter and money
to start off my blog, i would like to talk about twitter and money. sure twitter is still a new company, and just like every new company, is still running on investor money. but seriously, i dont know if they will ever be able to monetize that service to the extent of covering their costs. i just dont see it happening.
